The DRCF commissioned Thinks Insight & Strategy to explore consumer use, awareness and understanding of generative AI, their perceptions of the risks and benefits related to the technology, and measure the scale of harms arising from use of generative AI tools. This new report sets out the findings, including deep dives into the use of generative AI for debt and financial advice, and interactions with generative AI enabled web search.
This follows previous research DRCF published in July 2024 on Consumer use and understanding of Generative AI, including in financial and debt advice.
