Transparency in AI can help users better understand the technology and recognise if they are being treated unfairly and seek redress. The DRCF is keen to highlight the importance of transparency for regulators.
Our new article summarises findings from a recent workshop which explored good practice in how regulated organisations implement transparency. Participants included DRCF member regulators as well as Ofgem, the Bank of England and the Equality and Human Rights Commission. The article discusses key considerations, and includes useful information from each regulator on existing guidance and their next steps related to AI transparency. Read in full here.
