The International Network for Digital Regulation Cooperation (INDRC) and the OECD hosted a joint workshop today to discuss the "interplay between digital regulatory frameworks – challenges and opportunities of structural collaboration". A range of international experts from different regulatory, industry and academic backgrounds explored some of the main issues facing regulators today such as the impact of AI, from algorithms to generative models, and AI-generated content and dark patterns. The agenda also covered business and civil society perspectives on data-driven markets, privacy and innovation. Speakers included Stephen Almond, Executive Director, Regulatory risks, ICO and Aisling Ni Chonaire, Director of Behavioural Insights, DaTA Unit, CMA.

The DRCF launched the INDRC in June 2023 to build relationships with regulators from around the globe seeking to increase domestic cooperation in their jurisdictions. INDRC members include the UK (DRCF), Australia, Canada, Ireland and the Netherlands.
