Ensuring the reliability of AI assurance is crucial to enabling consumers and businesses across the UK to safely benefit from AI innovation. It is therefore essential for AI assurance to evolve in alignment with current and potential future regulatory expectations.
This new article aims to support firms planning to undertake or commission AI assurance analysis and reports. Further to our research on the AI assurance market published in July 2024, this article highlights opportunities to undertake AI assurance relevant to the remits of each of our member regulators, and our regulators’ expectations as to what AI assurance might comprise.
We hosted a webinar in December 2024 on the role of technical standards and frameworks in AI assurance, where industry experts and regulators discussed the current landscape and the broad range of tools that support the overall AI assurance ecosystem.
